What do you want

By jeglasgow - Posted on 10 November 2009

Welcome and hello!

I am contemplating changing the format of this web site.

We are not getting much participation in registrations or sharing of info. I think this is because people are reluctant to sign up for anything, they are not sure what the info is for and some people think we have an ulterior motive. I assure you this site is free and we don't even have time to bug you with e-mails. I thought more people would share their businesses P& L statements and that they would create a blog and brag about their money making progress, but I was mistaken.

I know that if you talk about making money and think about it every day that you will actually do it. But I have been unable to get others to realize the truth of that. Thus the changes that will be done to this site in the near future. The changes may be a while in coming as I want to write about “Thinking rich” that may take awhile to write.

My first thoughts is to make Towards Wealth an information only web site. You would still be able to Blog if you want, but as no one is using the interactive features and they need updating anyway, I might as well get rid of them. That action would simplify site maintenance.

My son just stopped into my office and said he wanted to improve the site this spring when he was done with his current projects. Si it looks like spring. In the mean time send us your comments and what you would like to see on Towards Wealth.

Thank you

Jim Glasgow Sr.

I am thinking, due to the economy and the for mentioned lack of credit line plus finding your home investment has depleted along with that credit line, that perhaps guide lines on rebuilding your dollar worth after the crash of 08 may be a subject most appealing to others.

It is not a pretty picture for most who thought they set themselves up for the rest of their lives. How to pull your self up by your boot straps, pay off the looming debt, down size the cost of living and once again plan out how to rebuild in 5-10 years may seem more interesting to those who hit bottom, than "Thinking yoursef Rich".

And it is hard to see yourself buying up property investments when you no longer have credit to work with. Even those with good or great scores cannot get loans. so perhaps article on building your own credit line could also catch viewers eyes.

Our world has changed, now we must relearn how to advance our lives, like our Grandparents in the depression. only instead of becoming horders. we need to know how to budget our everyday lives to match our income and still be able to plan and invest into our future and our grandkids future. Common sence, coupled by good bookkeeping and keeping with in your plans would be helpful.

Easy to do? No, but the alternative is doing nothing and finding yourself at a stand still 5-10 years down the road.
