Stock Investment Update

By jeglasgow - Posted on 11 May 2009

115% Gain in less then two months.

The stock market has continued its up trend, my original $18,500 stock portfolio now has a balance of $38,785 after I took out a grand to but a new desk for my office. That is a 115% return in 50 days.

I am now using Vectorvest stock search tool. I liked their on line training courses as my experience dealing with stocks is limited. I also use Forbes magazine to find stock suggestions and two other newsletters mentioned previously, only less so, now that I have the Vectorvest service.

Keep in mind I am playing and not using a Conservative approach.

I am still looking for a location for a mobile home rental park and other real estate opportunities.

Update 10-01-09 Stocks are in for a roller coaster ride this month so caution in the by-word. I have more then doubled my original $18,000 so no complaints.

Saturday 6-27-2009 my plans for a storage rental on our property just received our first client. And that was with out advertizing. Just good old word of mouth.

One renter doesn't make for rich income but any moneys that come in with out my having to work for it is sweet money in my book. And although I didn't get everything set up as planned (still working on that). I could offer a safe storage area for clients with large items, in this case a RV, that they cannot store in town due to the size.

The biggest point here is; If you plan and write down the plan it seems to come together easily even with out alot of advertizing or physical work on your part. The first step is deciding what you can or want to do then just do it! I truely have been to busy to focus all my attention on this income project but did mention to people that this is my plan and sure enough someone heard about it from someone and he just happened to be in the need to store his RV so when he called I said sure, come out take a look and if you are in agreement with the month to month rental fee  you can bring out your RV and sign the contract.

So there you go. Get the idea of what, plan the were and how and then just mention it to the many folks you meet who them selves are looking for xtra income. It works..Just DO IT.
