New Years Resolutions:

By Anonymous - Posted on 31 December 2008

It's that time of year. I hope you made some, make money resolutions for the new year. There will be a lot of activity on the economic front for the first six months of 2009.

After the presidential inauguration in DC the new president will be working on his stimulus package. Expect a fast passage and implementation. The stimulus and corrections already made by the Bush boys will start kicking in, and that coupled with the upbeat feeling of the new administration being in office, along with everyone working on economic improvements, we can expect a boost in economic activity in the first half of the year.

Based on those assumption my new years resolutions are:

  • Increase my net worth 10% or a minimum of $50,000 in 2009
  • Invest in stocks while the market is down.
  • Write this blog weekly.
  • Increase sales by 33% at my on line business
  • Do something each week that will help me take more money.
  • Take time to enjoy my successes.
  • Read Forbes magazine as soon as it arrives.

There is more opportunity to make money when the economy is in a down turn because you can ride the up waves. 2009 is that type of opportunity take advantage of it.

What should you do? Get the last two or three issues of Forbes and invest in the stocks they recommend. Buy some rent-able real estate now that prices are down. Read this web site for other ideas.
